Bruce's sailing and racing career spans 4 decades.

Bruce has raced literally thousands of races on a full spectrum of boats.
He holds championships in the Swiftsure, the SORC, and the Pacific Cup on boats ranging from Ranger 29's and J35s to Turbo 70 Sleds.

When Bruce is not racing, he is cruising - up and down the west coast, throughout the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean.

When he's not sailing, Bruce is teaching and writing.  Bruce has been teaching seminars on cruising, racing, and weather for nearly 25 years.   He is the Associate Publisher, Managing Editor, and Advertising Manager of Northwest Yachting Magazine, the largest recreational boating magazine on the West Coast.Â
