Bobby Brooks has coached over 45 race teams, campaigns a 6 meter in Europe and sails regularly on a J109 and Melges 32 in Texas. He coached the ladies Rolex team to a top five finish in 1992, helped write the J/80 tuning guide and video, and was director of several Santa Barbara sailing programs for youth through university levels. He has placed in the top three in Kenwood Cup, Transpac, Long Beach Race Week, Newport-Ensenada, Yachting Cup, and placed 2nd at Key West Race Week 2010.
